Every Miles Management resident gets free access to our portal: pay rent by bank transfer at no cost, split with roommates, request maintenance, and sign documents online.

Getting started

Three steps, five minutes.

  1. Step 1

    Receive your email invitation

    When your lease begins (or when your building joins the platform), we email you a personal invitation to the resident portal. Access is by invitation only — there’s nothing to sign up for on your own.

  2. Step 2

    Securely link your bank

    Follow the link to connect your bank account through Stripe, our payments processor. Your login credentials and account details stay with Stripe — Miles Management never sees them.

  3. Step 3

    Set up autopay and relax

    Turn on autopay and rent transfers automatically each month, free of charge. You can also pay manually, split rent with roommates, submit maintenance requests, and sign documents — all in one place.

Frequently asked questions

Does the portal cost anything?

No. The portal is always free for residents. ACH bank payments carry no processing fee, and there is no charge for maintenance requests, document signing, or any other feature.

Can Miles Management see my bank information?

No. Bank linking and payment processing are handled by Stripe, a leading payments company that also serves Amazon and Google. Your bank credentials and account details are visible only to Stripe — never to Miles Management or your landlord. We simply see that rent was paid.

How does roommate rent-splitting work?

Each roommate gets their own portal login and links their own bank account. You decide how the rent divides, and each person pays their share directly. No one has to front the full rent or collect from the others.

What happens if a payment fails?

If a bank transfer fails — for example, due to insufficient funds — the portal notifies you right away by email so you can retry promptly. Any late fees are governed solely by the terms of your lease, not by the portal. If something looks wrong, contact our office and we’ll sort it out.

How do I submit a maintenance request?

Sign in to the portal, describe the issue, and attach photos if helpful. Your request goes straight to our maintenance coordinator, and you can track its status until the work is done. For emergencies — fire, flooding, gas — call 911 or contact our office immediately rather than using the portal.

Can I sign my lease online?

Yes. New leases and renewals are signed electronically through the portal. Your signed lease is legally binding, stored permanently in your account, and available to download any time.
